pATAGONIA…

is a cinematic visual 6K journey film. Through breathtaking aerial and Timelapses Visuals, British Travel Filmmaker Richard Szkiler offers viewers an enticing and cinematographic journey across Patagonia. In somewhat of a unique form, the piece is unconventional, in the sense in allows it’s audience to emerge themselves into Patagonia yet gradually transitions to go behind the scenes to view the film from the filmmakers perspective whilst remaining  a submissive, uninterrupted cinetamtic piece.

The film takes you through Andean Peaks, across glaciers and introduces a close insights to Pumas and other Patagonian Wildlife. 

The film does not intend to demand anything from its audience and the individuals will be build their own interpretations. It does however act as a showcase piece of this beautiful and almost untouched natural paradise. Filming will commence mid 2019.

Background:

Filmmaker Richard Szkiler and his wife Manuela’s UK company ‘The View South’ have spent over a decade promoting destinations for Tourism boards such as Iceland and Malaysia. They have specialised in promoting some of the world’s finest hotels with the Relais & Chateaux brand, creating short documentary stories all of the world from India to Scotland. A rare breed of filmmakers with a talent for storytelling combined with  aerial cinetogrpahy, astro photography, wildlife and time-lapse skills.

Richard first filmed in Patagonia for BlueGreen Adventures in 2013, since then the content has been broadcast on UK television. Despite filming across the world Patagonia remains a place close to heart for Richard his successful career began here after living in Argentina  6 years, Manuela is also Argentina. They both have a deep connection with Patagonia and visit frequently.
